Hello backers!

It has been a little while, and this update is probably coming as a bit of a surprise. But we wanted to check in with you all, and let you know that we are sending out DrivethruRPG copies of the core rules PDF to everyone, to make sure that you always have access to the most up to date version of the book.

A few people have reached out to us over the last couple years, asking if there was a version that had resolved some of the errata, but the version of the book that was in Backerkit has remained fairly static. So on that note, keep an eye on your inboxes for a link to the current file on DrivethruRPG very soon!

While we are at it, we’ve had some really great new Blue Rose products since the Kickstarter wrapped up, and just in case you haven’t seen them yet, here’s a quick run down of what we have available. In fact, right this moment, a bunch of them are on sale during our Year End 2020 sale!

First of all, just recently we released a brand new (and FREE!) Quickstart for Blue Rose. Inside you’ll find a summery of the game’s rules, The Rhy Wolf’s Woe, a short adventure to try out, and a selection of pre-generated characters complete with interlocking relationships. You can find the Blue Rose Quickstart right here.

We also have a brand new Epic Campaign in Envoys to the Mount on pre-order right now! The book spans four chapters, five years, and all four tiers of play. Blue Rose developer Joseph Carriker has had several posts on our blog recently, that talk about what you’ll find in this amazing campaign. We also have an entire tie-in fiction anthology to go along with it! In Tales from the Mount you’ll find nine short stories from some amazing authors. You’ll find stories by Natania Barron, Nerine Dorman, Georgina Kamsika, Rhiannon Louve, Michael Matheson, Tiffany Trent, Caias Ward, and Suzanne Willis. In fact, you can even pre-order Envoys to the Mount, and Tales from the Mount together for a great discount! Speaking of our Blue Rose fiction, we have quite a few great selections available from our fiction imprint Nisaba Press! Our first book was Shadowtide: A Blue Rose Novel by our very own Joseph D. Carriker Jr. along with a follow up novella in Pit of Vipers. But if short stories are your thing, we have both Sovereigns of the Blue Rose and For Hart and Queen, two MORE anthologies.

Finally, last but certainly not least, if 5th Edition is your jam, we have the Blue Rose Adventurer’s Guide for 5th edition. Blue Rose ancestries, class options, feats, and details on the unique arcana, magic items, and creatures of Aldea. You can pre-order that book right here, the PDF should be available very soon!

Six of Swords

Hello backers!

To my profound relief, we have now reached the stage where I'm hearing that deliveries of both tokens and pendants are arriving worldwide. With that news, the last of our physical rewards are officially "in motion" and on their way to everyone.

My other news is that those who added Six of Swords after the campaign have had the PDF delivered to their BackerKit account. I was under the impression when I made the update that email confirmations would be sent out via BackerKit but I was also making the update from my iPad during Origins and it's entirely possible that I failed to click  a button or flip a toggle that would have made that happen. Regardless, I'm here to let you know that your PDF rewards are waiting and can be collected through BackerKit indefinitely. With the delivery of Six of Swords, the PDF rewards for this campaign should all also have been delivered.

June Update: Tokens and Pendants

Hi everyone!

In addition to the good news that all of the shipper's misshipped books and screens have now been accounted for and reshipped (and, largely, have already been successfully delivered except for the packages that were consigned to sea freight for pricing reasons) I have the good news from our friends at Campaign Coins that the pendants and tokens have been manufactured, packaged and delivered to them.

 
The pendants have come out every bit as beautiful as expected and the chain is more delicate and jewelry-like than in the samples. Apparently it was a bit of a trick to get the pendants packaged without going over-weight for the shipping estimates so don't be alarmed if they arrive without a packing list included. They literally can't include one more ounce to the package if we want to hit our promised shipping pricing.

Likewise, the conviction tokens are packaged in sets of ten. If you added on this reward, you should be expecting two packages for a total of twenty tokens. Our whole team is thrilled with how these beauties came out.

Other news: At this point we will only have two rewards left to deliver. One is the missing dust jacket that should have come with the Special Edition books. That's been approved and is in the printer's hands. When they're done we'll be delivering them rolled instead of folded so you can fit them to your book without any other unsightly creases or folds.

The final project is Six of Swords, which was added on in BackerKit and not something originally part of the campaign. Happy to say that's in the final stages of production and we will be able to deliver the PDF to backers through BackerKit in the next week or two.
